Dr Nirusha Karunaratne is a graduate from the University of Western Sydney. She completed her Bachelors of Medicine and Surgery in 2013.
She has spent time working at Nepean Hospital where she completed her internship and residency.
Dr Nirusha Karunaratne was the obstetrics and gynaecology prize winner at the University of Western Sydney in 2013.She has extensive experience in women's health and has worked in obstetrics and gynaecology at Westmead and Blacktown hospital.
She is a shared care provider for antenatal care with Campbelltown and Bowral hospital.
Dr Nirusha Karunaratne has a Diploma of Children's Health through the University of Sydney and also worked with the paediatrics department at Wollongong hospital where she worked in the neonatal intensive care unit and children's ward.
She completed her General Practice training in Moruya and Picton. She became a Fellow of the Royal Australian College of General Practice since 2019.
Being a Western Sydney University graduate and having worked in the Wollondilly Shire since 2017, she is committed to working and caring for our community everyday.
